Early Help

At Lavendon School, our Early Help provision is led by our Families Champion and Deputy Safeguarding Lead, Edith Collins. This support is designed to ensure that children and families can access guidance at the earliest possible stage, helping to prevent small concerns from becoming bigger challenges.

Edith works closely with parents, carers, and pupils to provide a listening ear, practical advice, and signposting to a wide range of local and national services. Whether families need support with wellbeing, behaviour, attendance, or wider community resources, our Early Help approach ensures that everyone knows where to turn and feels confident in accessing the right support.

By working together, we aim to strengthen family relationships, promote resilience, and ensure that every child has the best possible chance to thrive both in school and beyond.
