There were two bakeries, both of which used to deliver. They also cooked Sunday dinner for anyone who wanted them.

He was a tiny little man. When he walked he was always leaning forward as if he was about to fall on his face. He had a bread cart to deliver the bread around the village.
On a Sunday morning you could take your Yorkshire Puddings down to him and he'd put them in the oven and then you'd pick them up when they were ready.
